Why we take Atlanta kids to Summer Camp

This July, a group of kids in Atlanta will spend a week being kids — laughing, playing, and knowing they're loved. This year, we're calling it EPIC. That's AIMCamp.

That might sound like a small thing. It isn't.

AIM has been in this neighborhood since 1989 — long enough to know that summer isn't the same for every kid. For some, it's trips and camps and full schedules. For others, it's a lot of empty hours and not much support. AIMCamp exists to close that gap, even if it's just for a week.

AIMCamp runs from July 13 - July 17 and is all about giving our kids an epic summer experience. From swimming, fishing, and sports to good food and real time with counselors and leaders, AIMCamp is an experience like no other. EPIC will help kids learn to develop solid and lasting faith.

Whatever the week holds, the reason behind it stays the same: every kid deserves a place where they're known, looked after, and given a chance to just be a kid.

AIM provides opportunities just like this all year round because individuals just like you make it possible. Become a monthly donor at aimatlanta.org/give to ensure we can continue providing these experiences to Atlanta's children.
