The Story of AIM
AIM begin on Atlanta sidewalks in the 1980s. What started as a simple sidewalk VBS, has grown into many life-changing programs designed to help kids and families get the resources they need to thrive.

Inner-City Atlanta is
our mission field.
Atlanta is a major mission field that is so often missed. Food insecurity, poverty, broken families, drugs, & violence are prevalent in the communities and lives of thousands of kids & teenagers.
With over 40% of kids in our community below the poverty line and a median income $49,000 less than the city average, kids are growing up without the tools they need to thrive.

WE WANT TO HELP KIDS, TEENAGERS, & FAMILIES THRIVE
Through strategic programs, outreaches, and supports, we want to provide kids, teenagers, and families in the inner-city of Atlanta with the tools, resources, and relationships the need to thrive.

From food and clothing support, to counseling services, to regular environments, AIM wants to come alongside parents help them raise strong, Christian adults.
HOW WE HELP
We offer several opportunities for our community to access resources and support.
Environments
We create phase appropriate environments for kids, teenagers, and their families where they can get support, enjoy community, and experience the Gospel.
Food & Clothes
Each week, we have opportunities for families to access crucial food & clothing support. Throughout the year, we also host special food and clothing outreaches such as Thanksgiving in a Box and Winter Coats.
Counseling & Recovery
We offer mental health & therapy services for families and kids.
Summer Programs
Every Summer, AIM offers a full calendar of Summer events to give kids and students a place to connect, learn and grow over the summer. Our Day Camp, KidsCamp, runs through the entire month of June, while our sleep-away camp is in July.
